Buck's story
Buck has been roofing for 30 years. He learned the trade the hard way, up on hot decks in Oklahoma summers, tearing off old layers and laying new ones course by course. Over those decades he got to know just about every kind of residential roof and every way one can fail.
For a long stretch, Buck worked alongside crews he'd known for years and handed jobs off to them with confidence. Then things changed. The quality of the work started slipping. Calls went unanswered. Eventually some of those crews simply stopped calling back at all, leaving homeowners waiting on roofs that were half-finished or never started.
Buck couldn't stomach that. In 2021 he founded IPE Roofing to fill the gap he kept running into: a roofing company that answers the phone, shows up on the day it says it will, and does the work right the first time.
What we do differently
Communication you can count on
If you call, someone picks up. If we miss you, we call back. You'll know when we're coming, what we're doing, and when we expect to finish. It sounds simple, and it is. It's also the thing homeowners tell us they've had the hardest time finding.
Showing up
A schedule is a commitment. When weather forces a change, and in Oklahoma it sometimes will, we let you know right away instead of leaving you to wonder.
Quality without shortcuts
Buck's name is on every job, so he holds the work to his own standard. Proper underlayment, correct nailing patterns, flashing that's actually sealed, and a cleanup that leaves your property the way we found it.
The meaning behind the name
IPE stands for Integrity, Preparation, Expedience. Integrity means telling you the truth about your roof, even when the answer is that you don't need us yet. Preparation means arriving with the right materials and a plan. Expedience means respecting your time and getting the job done efficiently, without cutting corners to do it.
We stick to residential work for homeowners, and we travel up to about 100 miles from Oklahoma City to do it.
