How our 100-mile radius works

Our service area is a circle drawn about 100 miles out from the center of Oklahoma City. Rather than keep a long list of towns that inevitably leaves someone out, we measure by distance. If your home falls inside that circle, we can schedule a visit.

The easiest way to check is the request form on this site. One of the first questions asks for the ZIP code of the property. As soon as you enter it, the form compares it against our radius and tells you whether you're inside our area. There's no waiting for a callback to find out we can't make it. If you're right on the edge, or your ZIP code covers a large rural area, give us a call and we'll sort it out together.

We only work on homes, and we only work for the people who own them. That focus is part of how we keep our schedule reliable across such a wide area.

Metro neighborhoods and small towns alike

A big share of our calls come from the Oklahoma City metro: established neighborhoods with older roofs, newer subdivisions where a whole street was built at once, and everything in between. Suburbs like Edmond, Norman, Moore, and Yukon sit well inside our radius, along with the many smaller communities around them.

We also drive out to homes in small towns and on rural acreage. Some roofers won't make the trip for a house on a county road, or they put those jobs at the bottom of the list. We don't. A farmhouse an hour out gets the same inspection, the same photos, and the same straight answer as a house five minutes from downtown. Distance can affect scheduling, and we'll be upfront about timing when you call.

Weather doesn't respect city limits either. The hail and straight-line wind that hit central Oklahoma can damage roofs across a wide swath in a single afternoon, so it makes sense for a roofer to cover the region instead of a single town.

A note on permits in Oklahoma City

Inside Oklahoma City limits, significant re-roofing work on single-family homes and duplexes requires a permit, and city inspectors review the finished job. We explain the details in the permit section of our roof replacement page. Suburbs and smaller towns set their own rules, so if your home is outside OKC, check with your local city or county office. Either way, confirm with any roofer you hire that the permit will be pulled.

Why we keep the radius where it is

A hundred miles is a lot of ground, but it's a deliberate limit. Past that distance, it gets hard to promise the quick follow-up and on-time arrivals that IPE was built around. If a leak shows up after a job, we want to be able to get back to you without it turning into a day-long trip. Keeping the area to a reasonable drive is how we protect the part of the job homeowners tell us matters most: a roofer who answers and shows up.

If you're just outside the line, we'd rather tell you honestly than take a job we can't support properly afterward.
